Macmillan Support and Information

Cancer can leave you facing many challenges, from coping with your cancer diagnosis, to finding the help you need or even planning a holiday after a diagnosis.  At the local Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre, you’ll find a team of experts and trained volunteers on hand to answer your questions. They aim to give you a ‘time away’ from the cancer clinic, where you can find a listening ear and information on everything from local support groups to help for the financial problems cancer may create.

The team has a drop-in service at North Meols Medical Centre, Banks on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, (09.30 – 11.30).  Appointments are not necessary, just call in.

The West Lancs Information & Support Centre is at the Concourse Shopping Centre Skelmersdale WN8 6NL  (ground floor next to the Citizens Advice)

Open Monday to Friday 1-4.30pm, (closed bank holidays)
