We are a training practice based across West Lancashire.

We work with one set of clinicians and information systems across five sites.

We are committed to improving access and quality. We aim to provide a wide range of enhanced services for our patients.

We operate the Talk and Treat telephone consultation system.

Patient Group and Survey

 Patient Friends:

Any patient that attends the surgery, or contacts the surgery by telephone and has any concerns or issues that they are unhappy about , or they have experienced something that has gone wrong for them, they will now be helped by our “PATIENT FRIEND”.  We want the patient to have a point of contact at the practice where they can voice their concerns or deal with any issues they may have, and to know that we are listening and that changes will be made if need be.

How the walk in clinics work:

> The walk in clinics are for minor ailments and urgent conditions only not for disease reviews.

 >Each clinician is allocated a maximum of 20 appointments over a 4 hour period.

 >Patients are seen on first come first serve basis unless the staff are aware the presnting symptoms need urgent attention.

 >After 20 patients are booked there are no more appointments and patients are informed and advised to rebook.

 >The appointment lengths are around 10 minutes.

 >We cannot guarantee a waiting time.

 >If the clinican seeing you feels that the condition is not best dealt with in this clinic you will be redirected to a more appropriate clinic or member of the team.
